So you have found a bike online that you LOVE and you’re ready to click “Add to Cart” but how do you know if that dream bike is going to fit you?

There are many ways you can figure out how your bike will fit you; obviously if you’re shopping online, you can’t try it out, but you CAN take your measurements and then compare them alongside our charts!

Industry fact: Kid’s bikes are measured by WHEEL size while Adult bikes are measured by FRAME size.

Child’s Sizing Chart

Height / Bike Wheel Size

  • 1-3 years = Balance Bike
  • 2’5″ – 3’2″ = 12″ Training Wheels
  • 3’2″ – 4′ = 16″ Training Wheels
  • 4′ – 5′ = 20″ Wheels
  • 4’6″ – 5’5″ = 24″ Wheels

Adult’s Sizing Chart

Height / Bike Frame Size

  • 4’11” – 5’3″ = 13 – 15 inches
  • 5’3″ – 5’7″  = 15 – 16 inches
  • 5’7″ – 5’11” = 16 – 17 inches
  • 6’0″ – 6’2″ = 17 – 19 inches
  • 6’2″ – 6’4″  = 19 – 21 inches
  • 6’4″ and taller  = 21+ inches
